We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd idea. After smoking cigarettes practically continually when the anxiety set in, I began to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I offered you a total picture of our street and the people who live on it. It will be available in useful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
