We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
