We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, imposed on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). This implies that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes nearly continually when the anxiety set in, I began to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house.
