We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. We have a no smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This indicates that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking nearly continuously when the anxiety embeded in, I started to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that many ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
