We have a no smoking policy in our house, enforced on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking practically constantly when the depression set in, I started to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that most females in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her husband and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time.
