November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of women at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a extremely little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all).
