With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her husband and remains in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time.
