We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of women at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her other half and remains in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. I never talked to him, even though what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
