I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and state that many women at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
