With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
