We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
