We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking almost constantly when the anxiety set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies in your home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
