All of us go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I began to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
