November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't understand the half of it all. On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
