We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
