We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of females in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of it all. I think it's time I offered you a total image of our street and the people who survive on it. It will come in helpful in the future. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
