We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. After smoking almost continuously when the anxiety embeded in, I began to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of women at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of everything. I think it's time I provided you a total image of our street and individuals who live on it. It will be available in helpful later on. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
