All of us go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a doubt. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to select up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and say that many females in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
