November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
