We have a no smoking policy in our house, enforced on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking practically continually when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
