We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that many women in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her hubby and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Obviously, whenever I spoke to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my understanding. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never spoke with him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
