November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
