This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continuously when the anxiety embeded in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies.
