We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her hubby and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Naturally, whenever I spoke with them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my understanding. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City. I never spoke with him, although what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
