With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
