From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking practically continually when the depression set in, I began to notice the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
