We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been similar to you. I joined the ranks of the long-lasting ill, continued to receive my paycheque, and sat and took it simple. The first few weeks were fine I. managed to get all the little tasks that pile up done. Then in the third week, a malaise began to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, enforced on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of females in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
