We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been much like you. In the third week, a malaise started to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. I began to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
