We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been just like you. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes nearly continually when the anxiety set in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other ladies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
