We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that most ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a extremely little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
