We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, enforced on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
