With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
