From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and say that many women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
