We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been just like you. Then in the third week, a malaise started to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, imposed on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. I started to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that most ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
