We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of females in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
