We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her hubby and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I never ever spoke to him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
