All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a doubt. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been much like you. I signed up with the ranks of the long-term sick, continued to get my paycheque, and sat and took it simple. The very first few weeks were great I. managed to get all the little tasks that accumulate done. In the 3rd week, a despair started to sneak in. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that many ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
