We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a doubt. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been similar to you. I joined the ranks of the long-lasting sick, continued to get my paycheque, and sat and took it easy. The very first couple of weeks were fine I. managed to get all the little tasks that pile up done. Then in the 3rd week, a despair started to sneak in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, imposed on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to select up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her other half and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. I never spoke to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
