We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of it all. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
