We have a no smoking policy in our home, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). This implies that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking almost constantly when the anxiety set in, I began to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies.
