From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking almost continually when the depression set in, I began to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that many females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her spouse and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time.
