We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up till September, I had actually been just like you. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
