I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies in your home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not know the half of all of it. I think it's time I gave you a total photo of our street and the people who reside on it. It will come in useful later. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
