We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her partner and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I never spoke with him, even though what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
