November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that many females at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
