November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.
