We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of females at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. I never ever spoke with him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
