We have a no smoking policy in our house, imposed on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her hubby and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
