With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that many women in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.
