This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost constantly when the anxiety embeded in, I started to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women.
