All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been similar to you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, enforced on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking practically continuously when the depression set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her other half and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. I never spoke to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
