We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking practically constantly when the anxiety set in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies.
