We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, imposed on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). This suggests that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continually when the depression set in, I began to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of women in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her partner and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time.
