We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies in the house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of everything. I believe it's time I gave you a complete photo of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will can be found in helpful in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
