I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house.
