We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second idea. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, imposed on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. I believe it's time I provided you a total image of our street and individuals who live on it. It will come in useful later. It's a extremely little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her spouse and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Of course, whenever I spoke with them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my understanding. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City. I never talked to him, even though what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
