We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not know the half of all of it. I think it's time I gave you a total photo of our street and the people who reside on it. It will be available in useful later. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
