We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. Then in the 3rd week, a despair started to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
