We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that most women in your home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. I think it's time I provided you a complete picture of our street and the people who reside on it. It will can be found in helpful later. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Of course, whenever I talked to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never spoke to him, even though what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
