We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd thought. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
