We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd thought. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
