We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that many women in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of everything. I think it's time I offered you a complete image of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will be available in helpful later on. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
